Stay in a comfortable, bright, and creative space in West Philadelphia! A calm and cozy third floor that accommodates 1-3 people quite nicely.
Comfortable third-floor space that includes 3 bedrooms and one bathroom in Cedar Park of West Philadelphia! A creative room with musical instruments, large windows, and dreamy mural, as well as two sunny guest rooms. In a shared house with responsible, kind, and open-minded housemates. I am a theater artist and counselor, and my housemates work mainly in the therapeutic and creative arts. Feel free to share some tea, or just spend time in the room if you'd like. You are welcome to the shared spaces (kitchen, living room, dining room, backyard garden, porch.)
In University City and a few blocks from Clark Park, UPenn, and Drexel. Well-connected to center city by trolley, subway, or regional rail.
The first floor is quite open with a living room, dining room, and kitchen (has an island that opens to the rest of the floor, all rooms are connected.) Amenities Include: Fresh towels and clean bedding, free wifi, use of the kitchen. Comfortable living room with sitting areas. Folk harp, autoharp, guitar, ukulele, and more in the house - instrument use is encouraged but not required! :) Breakfast not included, but we have a great cafe around the block as well as the local food co-op.
I'm happy to guide you if you have any questions about the area or are looking for interesting things to do. Am connected with the theater, music, and arts community in Philly and am happy to share if you are interested. I love to travel and also to host/meet new people, so feel free to share some tea if you are so inclined! We are each respectful of each others' spaces in the house, so we ask that you are as well!
You are welcome to use the kitchen - we have a great tea collection. The third floor is calm and quiet.
Respectful of people's space, and being respectful in the shared spaces (living room, dining room, kitchen). Please no access to private bedrooms other than your own. If you smoke, feel free to do so on the front porch. And be sure to make yourself at home, and enjoy!
I love to travel, connect, create. Most recently co-organized music workshops with local and indigenous musicians in the highlands of Guatemala. Have traveled throughout North America and Hawaii and am looking forward to more journeys...!
