We are a new developing low budget destination stay for runners, hikers, swimmers and cave explorers or anyone just wishing to just hang out, talk to the neighbor's chickens or relax and do nothing. We are located 30 kilometers (18 Miles) OUTSIDE Chiang Mai city, on the outskirts of Ob Khan National Park. You can either rent a motorbike, go on one of our tours or we can drop you off and pick you up for a small price to see any of the nearby attractions and sights.
Hello and welcome to Boo's Adventurer's Paradise. Please read everything in the descriptions below, so there are no misunderstandings. We are located 30 kilometers (18 Miles) OUTSIDE Chiang mai city, in a small village next to Ob Khan National Park and have 3 beautiful bamboo huts for rent listed under "An Adventures Paradise" Units 1, 2 and 3. All are identical and are located on the same property. (Really, they are all the same, for some reason everyone thinks unit #2 has a hot tub, private tiki bar and masseuse.) The huts can accommodate 2 people on a twin size bed and comes with a mosquito net, lamp, fan, electrical outlet, outside sitting area and a locking dresser. (If you've read up to this point here, your doing 90% better than most guests). Please read on.
Wifi is available on the property. We also have a new common room where guests can relax, read, eat, plan trips, work on their laptops, play table football (Fooseball), break up, kill one another, or beat their kids without any witnesses. If you wish to hunt down and cook your own meals, we have a new outdoor kitchenette you may use. There is a refrigerator and cabinet to keep your food and drinks in.
As members of the Hash House Harriers, (drinkers with a running problem) we encourage our guests to take advantage of the numerous running clubs we belong to. You can walk, run or just sit around and hurl insults at each other and make friends with the other non runners while the crazy ones are out running through the forests. The men's only group runs are on Mondays at 3:30 and the men's and women's runs are on Thursdays at 3:30. Weather permitting and availability of dry wood, guests can also build a fire at night to sit around and exchange stories, take photos, throw burning sticks at each other or cook your feet over. You can also accompany us on our numerous trips around the area running errands, extorting the local shop keepers and food shopping.
We serve breakfast and dinner on the property. For lunch, there is a beautiful garden restaurant in our village a kilometer away that serves great food for a low price. Breakfast is 70 Baht or less and dinner is usually between 60-90 Baht. A couple new restaurants are also open for dinner 2-3 kilometers away. A western style supermarket and fresh local market are located 20 minutes awayby motorbike. There is also a 7/11, ATM, pharmacy, restaurant, coffee shop and petrol station 4k down the road and Crazy Joe's German bakery/restaurant 6 kilometers down the road. And as always, drinking water, tea and coffee are always free. When you enter the National Park from my location, there are hundreds of trails to hike, run or get lost on. You may also volunteer at the local dog shelter, (Care for Dogs) which is 20 minutes away, if you are staying longer than a week, they have a 2 or 3 day orientation program before you can volunteer. You may look them up online. Sometimes the internet may be slow or cut out for a short while, especially during the rainy season. If you are a busy C.E.O. of a large international corporation or need to immediately show everyone on F.B. you had coffee and toast for breakfast for the sixth day in a row, then the village life is not for you.
Due to too many fires and damage, smoking is only permitted at the tables near the shower facilities and the common area or in front of the rental house if you are staying in it. Come and go as you please. Pets are allowed. For your own safety, no walking around barefoot.

I am from a small village near Ayuttaya. I live with my nephew and 2 dogs. I like running, gardening, exploring new places and meeting new people. And shopping. Always shopping.
