The cottage, of 590 ft2, is in the sector of Yutuy in the peninsula of Rilán, to 45 minutes from Castro and the airport.
It is an old cellar of native wood rehabilitated, with a wonderful view to the Bay of Castro and direct access to the beach.
It is a perfect starting point for touring the island by land or by sea.
It has a double bedroom on a mezzanine, a twin bedroom, and a living room with a view of the bay.
It has wood-burning heating and a well-equipped kitchen, for those who love cooking.
To get there you do not need a 4x4 car, except in the winter season. It has parking inside the property, at the level of the beach, about 25 meters from the cabin.
If you come with small children, it is important that you know that the terraces have no protection.
The cottage has a direct access to a quiet beach, in front of the work of fishermen.
For the cold days it has a wooden tub with a wonderful view to the bay of Castro.
There are two walking kayaks available, to tour the coast of the peninsula.
In March and April they are available to harvest delicious traditional Chiloé apples, to make foot, jams and other recipes.
The cottage has WiFi suitable for emails et messages. It is not suitable for watching videos and videoconferences, as it has limited transfer capacity.
Upon arrival we will leave you a small basket with some local products, depending on the season.
If you are coming with a small child, we have a cradle available, which you must request in advance.
If you do not come by car, we can help you coordinate the transfer from the airport or Castro, with a person of our confidence.
You can cross by boat from/to Castro, in a trip of 15 minutes, with a person of Yutuy. It also offers boat trips along the bay.
The people of the sector have fresh vegetables, fish and seafood for sale.
About 40 minutes away is Dalcahue, with the most important handicraft fair in the area, in addition to having "cocinerías" with good traditional food from Chiloé.
