A simple summer holiday retreat in the heart of Barwon Heads. The shack has been renovated to retain some charm with comforts. . A skip to the beach and all the cafes and shops you need.
(More photos coming) This really is an old summer fishing shack with lining boards, old flooring and quirky alterations done over time - now refreshed with new bathroom, kitchen and dining space to the garden. The Bungalow is separately occupied by others (me) so not part of it unless I note specifically . In total the house accommodates 6, but can extend to 8 people if happy to fold out couch.
Ideally arrange a time to meet and change over the keys, or call mobile to arrange something else.
You get the place to yourself. I can meet you on arrival and departure if you need, otherwise we just arrange key somewhere strategic.
It is humble but is all about old summer holidays, with coits. totem tennis, twister and backgammon. If you are looking for a lush oversized house, you might be disappointed.
Dogs are welcome, but please keep them to their own beds. Garden can be secured, no bother, for them or children.
Smoking definitely outside.

Friendly and busy person who has travelled and lived overseas a little bit, and one day will get time to do more. Running an architecture practice in Barwon Heads and Point Lonsdale with a couple of Melbourne days per week. But still a little time available to potter in the surf and enjoy the abundance of friends and other relaxing things Barwon Heads has to offer. Love coffee and reap the benefits of having a good few places here and exploring Melbourne's best laneways for the same and abundant food choices. Friends are often visiting and use the house as their own home which means it get pretty social and fun around here, kids playing totem tennis, coits and twister, adults playing a bit of bocce while enjoying a refreshing evening beer or G&T ( I sound like an alcoholic!!) . Loved Spain and Mexico for their relaxed and friendly lifestyle, fresh flavoursome foods, but equally love Ireland and Scotland for their humour, music and wild landscapes, then there are those Nordic countries for such good socialist principles and refined architecture, and Jerusalem for its uniqueness. But still to explore - Japan, India, Bhutan.... well they are my next hopes!! In the meantime welcoming travellers here instead
