This completely renovated home from home combines the comfort of a hotel with the convenience of relaxing in your own space - a modern flat in a traditional Edinburgh tenement, close to the city centre but a retreat from the madness of touristville.
We provide flexible accommodation with a hotel standard king-sized bed which can be split into twin beds and a luxury double futon in the living room so that we can accommodate 4 guests. There is also a fold out mattress suitable for a child to cater for families of five. The kitchen has everything you will need to cater during your stay although there is a wealth of excellent bars & restaurants on your doorstep, including a multi-screen cinema complex & children's soft play. The apartment is a 15 minute walk to the main tourist attractions & festival/fringe venues as well as to the main shopping centre, Princes Street. It is located in a cul-de-sac next to the Union Canal so offers a quiet retreat from the hustle & bustle of the city centre as well as pleasant walks along the canal where there is al fresco wining & dining.
There is free unlimited wifi for guests, a 32" flat screen TV with freeview, a CD player with iPhone dock & a range of DVDs, CDs, books and games. Bed linen, towels, toilet paper & cleaning products are provided free of charge as well as a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk & shortbread. There are also store cupboard items such as salt & pepper, cooking oil and spices which guests are welcome to use. There is a Sainsbury's Local supermarket at the bottom of the street.
I meet guests at the apartment to hand over the keys and familiarise them with the apartment & the area.
There is free on street parking from Friday 5.30pm until Monday 8.30am. Otherwise it costs £1.20 per hour on weekdays but there is free parking just a 10 minute walk away where you can leave your car for the duration of your stay.
