Spacious bedroom in pre-1900 Victorian with 11-ft ceilings, new kitchen, dining room & bedroom, modern bathroom (great water pressure), antique furniture, stained glass, 2 fireplaces, 2 blocks from BART train & walking distance to all Mission District.
The San Francisco Short Term Residential Registration Number is STR--(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).
The flat is on the top floor of a gorgeous 2-unit pre-1900 building with 11-foot ceilings, lots of natural light, refinished old wood floors, 3 beautifully crafted built-in mantles and 2 fireplaces, sweet view of Potrero Hill from the kitchen/dining room, which was newly remodeled in 2013.
The guest bedroom was also remodeled in 2013 with new wood floors, paint and custom wool carpet. The queen bed is furnished with a wool comforter, 100% cotton sheets and wool mattress cover. The hallways are covered with wool Kazak runners. The main bathroom is modern with excellent water pressure and volume in the shower. (Please be aware that there is a drought in California and try to conserve water. Thank you!)
You will have access to everything except our personal bedroom. The guest bedroom is a fantastic octangular room with new douglas fir wood floors, carpet, paint, rosewood vanity, antique armoire, dresser, closet and a queen bed. With access to our apartment, we offer a spacious living room with TV, office, 1.5 bathrooms, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and deck with outdoor seating.
We may be around and we are the type of host to let guests explore on their own, although very happy to tell guests about our favorite things to do and places to see. Guests may come and go freely and choose how they wish to spend their time in SF. I will provide written orientation upon arrival to help guests settle in to the flat and the neighborhood.
I am a chef and sometimes host private dinner parties at our home. Our dining table seats 12 comfortably. Please let me know if you'd like to host a private dinner party during your stay (for an additional fee). You have the option of cooking yourself or having me cook for you (fees vary depending on menu and number of people). If you choose to have your own dinner party, please let me know for how many people, and I can help you configure the dining table and chairs to accommodate them.
Otherwise, enjoyment and use of the kitchen is included during your stay after an orientation with me.
I ask for respect and care for our things and to leave the place in good condition. Please do not bring any beverages or food into the guest room other than water, which is fine. I provide a printed list of house rules and local attractions for guests. The most important thing is to feel at home, relax and enjoy the beautiful apartment and your stay in San Francisco. I offer locally roasted coffee and a fine selection of teas available for guests included in the room fee. I have labeled a few drawers in the kitchen: tea, compost, garbage and recycling. When in doubt, recycle it. (They sort the recycling at the dump.)
Upon check out, please pile your used sheets and towels in the laundry room (off the kitchen).

I am a very friendly, honest, caring person and I love to host. I had the great fortune of growing up overseas in Thailand and traveling a lot with my family throughout my childhood. I enjoy meeting people from all around the world and like to make them feel at home.
I live in a classic Victorian flat with my boyfriend Rob. We rent out our place when we go out of town. We are pretty neat, clean and organized and have an eclectic mix of decor, new and antique, from around the world. Our place is well loved and well taken care of. I speak Thai, Spanish and am learning French; and Rob speaks French.
I love to cook so we have a well equipped kitchen, which we remodeled in 2013. The dining room and living room are where I spend most of my time.
I work out of my home as as Private Chef, Caterer and Healthy, Healthy Lifestyle & Cooking Coach, as well as a Seniors Yoga Teacher and Thai Yoga Massage Therapist and Instructor. I like to mix it up!
