A great vacation home just 1 hr. southeast of the Twin Cities. Located across the street from Lake Pepin & within walking distance to Ohuta Beach plus all of the downtown businesses, parks and the marina. When you visit La La's Landing, you will be renting the main & lower levels of the home which is approx. 2000 sq ft. Our 5 year old property sleeps 8 & has 2 private bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen & a private deck w/a gas grill. INCREDIBLE VIEWS LAKE PEPIN and the BLUFFS!

La La's Landing is a TALL house and due to this, it has many flights of stairs! When you visit, you will be entering through the far right door that is located on the back side of the home. There are 7 stairs cascading down into the garden level and midway through that level, you will find a door that leads you to go up another 13 stairs to the 'main' level. Its a fun adventure!

We are the Zmuda's -- we named our property La La's Landing because:
1) I was La La as a girl when my father was teaching me how to say my name
2) LA (ke) Pepin in LA (ke) City and
3) We are in love w/ the musical La La Land!

You can expect comfortable accommodations within walking distance of Ohuta beach, Lake City Marina, downtown, shopping, dining, city parks and scenic walkways. Go to Lake City dot org to learn more!

Triple L property is just 5 years old and was built to be quiet (triple pane glass) it's clean and the perfect place for you to begin your adventures.

There is a large garden level private bedroom with a king bed, a sofa in the family room, (1) queen blow up bed and a twin bed in the adjoining closet.
The main level features a private bedroom with a queen bed, a queen convertible sleeper sectional and a twin-sized 'click clack' convertible bed in the main living room. We provide all sheets, blankets, pillows + extra sheets.

We provide all of the kitchen accoutrements like pots, pans, dishes, bowls, drinking cups, glasses, coffee cups, utensils, wine opener, can opener, toaster, waffle stick maker, hot pads, coffee & filters + sweeteners/creamer.

Plus kitchen towels, paper towels, napkins, disinfecting wipes, dish soap, fresh bar soap, tissues, first aid, games and extra blankets, quilts and pillows!

Here's a list of what to do in this area: On the water -- Beach, swimming, sunbathing, people watching, Pearl of the Lake Historic River boat tours, Sail Pepin charter, Lake City Boat Club rentals, Eagle parasailing, fishing, walking through city waterfront parks, quick drive to 252 acre municipal-owned Hok-Si-La park (has netted gazebos for comfortable outdoor grillin/chillin) and a BIG BEAUTIFL beach!

Dining, shopping, sight-seeing (more period homes here than any other town of its size in MN -- will provide a self-guided list) bird (especially Bald Eagles) watching, farmers markets, fairs, festivals, antiquing and events -- go to Lake City dot org to learn even more!

The Lake Pepin Wine Trail features (4) different wineries (Maiden Rock Winery, Villa Bellezza Winery, Flower Valley Vineyard, Lake Pepin Winery)

Pepin Heights Orchard and Store are perfect in the fall and these places are just a short drive away:

The National Eagle Center (Wabasha)
Famous Lark Toys (Kellogg)
Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum (Pepin WI)
Charming towns of Maiden Rock and Stockholm WI.
In the winter, the Coffee Mill Ski Resort that is just a 20 minute drive away!

There are 7 stairs cascading down into the garden level and midway through that level, you will find a door that leads you to go up another 13 stairs to the 'main' level. Its a fun adventure! Think Swiss Family Robinson! We are located in a mixed use neighborhood of both year round residential homes and vacation rentals. Lake City is the epitome of small town, mid-west American life -- life in second gear describes the ease of this place. You will experience a slower pace, stunning views and peaceful breezes off of the lake. Leave your city worries behind! You don't need to worry about rush-hour traffic, parking meters, pollution or loud and obnoxious 'city' noises! Its time to experience what it feels like to be a human being and not just a human doing.

Hi,
We are Lisa and Mike Zmuda, the owners of La La's Landing here in beautiful Lake City MN. We've been active travelers our whole lives and have made careful notes of the things, conveniences and amenities we've wished for AND included them as part of OUR vacation property. One of our expectations is that a property receives a 5 star cleanliness score and that's what you will experience at La La's Landing. ALL of the linens are cleaned between vacationers, not just the sheets like at other places. Every surface is disinfected, washed, polished, dusted and vacuumed to meet your high expectations and standards. This is a new home and because of this, we do not allow smokers or pets into the suite to keep the carpet dander, odor and dust free. We have (3) grown children -- a son in Philadelphia, and (2) daughters in Michigan; we also have (2) beautiful Grand Daughters that live in Michigan too. When we're not working, we enjoy motorcycle rides along the Mississippi, exploring small towns and 'stay'cationing in our beautiful picture perfect city -- Lake City!

We do live here (upper level) and come and go now and then. We will not interact with you unless you initiate it or need something that affects your stay.
