Here are a few recent reviews - left before we launched this new account:
Bernie Vogels, October 2014 – We absolutely adored our time at Narrowgate farm. We were sad we could only stay a short time, as our hosts adopted us as if we were family. The apartment was cosy and uniquely decorated and suited our party of six perfectly. Plus, the breakfast (and conversation over breakfast) was amazing - buckwheat pancakes, fresh fruit, sausage, juice and coffee - yum! If you get the chance, you need to stay here.
Kristen Combs. October 2014 – We stayed here as we were headed to Shenandoah on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Easy communication with Shayna, and our hosts were lovely people who cooked us an amazing breakfast - I wouldn't mind having that biscuit recipe -yum! The views out back of the farm and surrounding mountains are stunning. We also had a our dogs with us and it was easy and convenient to let them out. It was also the first time we had my parents with us (and their first airbnb experience). We'd stay again!
Jeff & Tammy Dewitt, October 2014 – We had a wonderful experience at Narrogate Farm! A.T. & Christy are very warm and welcoming hosts. The accommodations were just as advertised, and we were completely happy with our week's visit. The breakfasts were delicious, and featured many products that are actually produced on the farm. The farm lies within the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, with lovely views from the house. Almost no other man-made structures are visible from the guest quarters of the house, and the overall vibe is peaceful and serene. We look forward to future visits to Narrogate Farm.
Seth Dresser, September 2014 – This place is a good as it looks. Trust me! If you're looking for unique pastoral charm, personality and hospitality look no further. A.T. and Christy were great hosts and the farm fresh breakfast was fantastic. A.T. even took time to show us his amazing woodshop. The nice thing about coming in late September is that we were able to enjoy the first fall colors and still gather a nice bouquet of wildflowers during our little hike down to the creek, and Christy sent us home with some just-picked apples. Loved it!
