Clean and pleasant double bedroom with shower room right next door. The house overlooks the Oxford University Rugby grounds on Iffley Road, an easy 15 min walk from the centre of town, or 5 min walk to Cowley Road.
Parking space for one car. Small, paved garden with pub bench out back. Small shop across the road, Tesco and Sainsburys 5-10mins walk away on Cowley Road where there are plenty of coffee shops, charity shops, restaurants and bars. The town centre is a pleasant, short, flat walk away, approx. 15 mins.
This is a family home. Children are welcome.
You will have access to the downstairs area only. Your private room is down from the front door, at back garden level. There is a shower room and utility room right beside your room, where you can have access to laundry facilities, a kettle and a small fridge. The shower will not be used by the family during your stay, but someone might need to pop to the loo occasionally during the day. The garden is paved and small, you are welcome to make use of it should you like to.
We are a family of 4, with two children (6&8yrs). Our kitchen, living spaces and bedrooms are upstairs. Both children are at school during the week days. We are friendly and love to welcome visitors, but due to our busy schedules we generally keep interaction with guests quite minimal. If you are hoping for a lie in, please be aware that this is a family house - our children wake up early and although we do all we can to be quiet, when they are home there is the average level of noise that goes with that.
Please note the address: we are NOT no.5 Iffley Road. We are no.5 Bannister Close, the entrance is just off the corner of Jackdaw Lane and Iffley Road. It's a little confusing, so if you are taking a taxi be sure to use our post code: OX4 1SH to avoid having to walk 5 mins up from the beginning of Iffley road:)
Absolutely no smoking allowed inside the house.
