Newly restored 1920s bungalow in Old North Durham with a spacious bedroom, comfortable shared spaces - and just a few blocks from many popular coffee shops, restaurants, and bars.
My home is a 2-bedroom, newly restored bungalow in Old North Durham.
Guests will have access to the whole home (2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom) and can feel free to watch a TV outfitted with Roku streaming, prepare food in a well-furnished kitchen, and enjoy the front porch or back yard. In addition to the two bedrooms (one queen-sized bed, one full-sized) there is an inflatable queen-sized mattress available for additional guests.
I have guests during periods of travel for work, so while I can provide remote assistance for guests and will do my best to answer questions before your arrival, I will not be in town to interact during your visit.
The house is on a gravel road, so when people drive by it can be audible. Fortunately while the home is near a main road there aren't a lot of homes on my stretch, so there typically isn't much going on. There is a small apartment complex across the street; the families living there are extremely friendly and can be quite social during weekends, typically during the day; when the weather is nice, they may be outside grilling and playing music, and usually the festivities wrap up by about 9 or 10 PM.
Please do not smoke indoors. Feel free to load rinsed dishes into the washer and allow me to run the washer upon my return. I will take care of washing sheets - you can leave them on the bed. Pets are allowed but please put a sheet on the couch if you intend to let them up there with you - pet sheets are folded up on the endtable closest to the door. I'd prefer that pets do not sleep in the beds and that they are not left in the home unsupervised for long periods of time.
