Anke and her husband were both very welcoming, and flexible. This was my first time using Airbnb, and it was a very pleasant experience. This was also my first time traveling alone, but Anke and her husband were so friendly that it put me at ease. My travels to Eindhoven ended up taking much longer than I had planned, but Anke was very flexible. When I got there she showed me the rooms, which were very nice. The mattresses of the beds were very, very comfortable. It was also very nice to have two rooms. One room is a sitting/eating room with a mini-fridge, sink, self-serve tea/coffee, and plates and silverware. Anke also had lots of material about Eindhoven and things to do in that room. which was very nice. The bedroom was also very nice and comfortable. There were TVs in both rooms, but I didn't try them. Having your own bathroom is nice too, just be careful going down the stairs in the dark, they left a small light on, but the stairs can still be tricky. As far as it's location, I thought it was perfect. It was a thirty minute walk from the main bus/train station in a nice little residential area with a grocery store only a few minutes away. The location makes it very easy to get to the city center, and very easy to take a day trip with the train, which I did. Anke and her husband also let me borrow a bike, which was quite the adventure. They provided towels and there were shampoos, soaps, conditioner, and lotions in the bathroom which was very nice as well. Overall, I would say this is a very nice place to stay, and for a reasonable price. I am a younger traveler and wanted to stay in a hostel but they were all booked. For the price of a bed at a local hostel I instead had a floor entirely to myself and a private bathroom just down the stairs. If you are in Eindhoven definitely check out the Van Gogh bike path, I had a hard time finding it, but it absolutely beautiful. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here if you find yourself in Eindhoven.
