If you are looking to visit the winelands, and want to experience the great food and amazing wine, and relax in an accommodation that feels more like home than a hotel or B&B, then consider our garden cottage right in the middle of Franschhoek Town. The main street of Franschhoek is just a short walk away and for many guests they like to leave their car and enjoy a stroll to the main street from our lovely garden cottage.
The space is an open plan/studio cottage with the option of having a Queen/Double bed, or 2 single beds. There is a separate sitting area and a breakfast kitchenette with fridge, sink, microwave, electric frying pan, toaster and tea/coffee making facilities. The use of a BBQ can be arranged if desired, and the cottage has a full functioning air conditioning unit, ceramic flooring, and plenty of closet space.
The cottage is located within walled grounds and shares the garden and pool area with the larger house. The cottage and the house are completely separate from each other, and the cottage has it's own separate entrance to the main Berg Street road.
Guests have access to the pool and garden area. The pool is a fresh water (green) pool and is cleaned in a regular basis.
There is access to free wifi within the grounds, and space for parking one car within the walled security gates on the property.
Linen Change - during long term stays, a change of linen can be arranged, along with a cleaning of the bathroom and kitchen area. Please let us know in advance if you would require this during your stay.
We make arrangements to meet with guests on arrival to exchange keys, and show them around the property. We would then also meet with guests on the day of check out to ensure the property is in the same condition as arrival.
Check-in is normally any time after 3pm, with check-out at 11am on the day of departure. We are relatively flexible with these times and are happy to work with guests as best we can.
It is not guaranteed that the main house will be vacant during your stay but the only shared area would be the pool and garden so there would be limited interaction with anyone in the house.
This is a NO smoking property, and as a courtesy to our neighbours in the area we ask that noise be limited after 10pm.
