The house has a front garden at ground floor and, at lower floor, a second garden giving access to the private wooded park with swimming pool. The main entrance of the farm owner house is through the ground garden and gives access to the living and dining room with a stone fireplace, to a wardrobe with laundry-shower room and to the old fashioned kitchen and breakfast room with fireplace. A secondary entrance is through the four car garage and the wardrobe. A staircase leads to the lower floor in the playing and T.V. room with a stone fireplace, to the billiards (pool) and bar room, to the children playing room to the reading room and toilets: all rooms communicate with the lower garden and the wooded park. From the ground floor entrance and the living room, two staircases lead to the upper floor where four king size bedrooms and one double bed room are located, each one with its private bathroom or shower room. At the upper floor are also located a three bed room and a studio with single bed. The rooms are bright and sunny and decorated with furniture of the 19th and early 20th century. The house has a central heating system.
Arsicci is located close to river Tevere springs. There are many marked panoramic paths of different difficulty level in the mountains surrounding the village. The GEA path, which follows the Appennini ridge, passes on the nearby crest. Arsicci is located close to the towns of Borgo Sansepolcro (the renaissance painter, Piero della Francesca, town), Monterchi and Anghiari.
The location.: Many of the most important art towns in central Italy can be visited in one day trip. On the Tirrenian side there are Assisi, Cortona, Gubbio, Perugia, Todi, Arezzo, Firenze and Siena; on the Adriatic Side Urbino, Ravenna, San Marino, Rimini the citadels of San Leo and Sassocorvaro. There are also a multitude of fascinating castles, shrines and hermitages such as La Verna and Camaldoli, sites of great spirituality in the early Middle Ages and Italian Renaissance. Restaurants in the area are superb, many of them are economically priced.
Guest will have exclusive access to the house, to the garage, to the external parking area, to the park and to the swimminmg pool.
I will receive the guest at their arrival and give them full indications on the use of the house, on the closest pubblic services available and on what may be visited by foot, by bycicle and by car. I will not remain in Arsicci during their stay but a lady will take care of the park and of house daily cleaning will be available for any possible request of assistance.
Daily house cleaning (5 days a week, sunday excluded) will be soft and will not concern bedrooms and kitchen.
Pets may be allowed previous agreement. Smoking is not allowed in the bedrooms.
PROFILE AND RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE PROPERTY PROPOSED FOR RENTAL
I was born in Eritrea (East Africa) from an italian family and I grew up there. I have got my degree from the Politecnico of Milano, in Italy. Since then I have been working for an Italian Costruction Company and I have been following costruction sites all over the world. I have met my italian wife, Anna, when I was working on the river Indus in Pakistan; she was working in a hospital. I am now retired and I can enjoy my properties.
The farm of Arsicci, in Tuscany, belongs to my family since 1933 and the ancient farmhouse was immediately refurbished. Since I was very young I always spent a portion of my summer vacations in Arsicci, as I got married and I became father I have been using Arsicci also for New Year day and Eastern holidays. In 1975 my family sold the farm but kept the property of the farmhouse, the park and a portion of Arsicci village. In 2000 I have purchased the property from my brothers and cousins and I refurbished the farmhouse keeping, as far as possible, its original shape and character. In 2002 I decided to rent the property of Arsicci, as a holiday house, when not used directly by my family and friends. Since then I was and I still am renting the property through international websites such as Tripadvisor.
I will now decide whether to rent it also through Airbnb.
WHAT I LIKE MOST.
I have been visiting the five continents, not only for working reasons, but also as a traveller interested to the culture of different people. With my wife, we had wonderfull treckings on the Karakoroum and the Himalaya mountains, we visited Argentina and Brazil, China, Morocco, Egypt, Yemen, Etiopia and most of european countries. Obviously we love all the italian regions and their fantastic cuisines.
I love music, mainly opera and sinphonic; few weeks ago we were in Berlin and we could enjoy the first concert of the season 2014 - 2015 of the Berliner Philarmonics. Wonderfull concert and marvelous acoustics in the Philarmonie.
Both me and my wife we love modern and contemporary litterature as well as cinema.
I like cooking and even more eating good meals. Our house in Arsicci, in my opinion, is the best restaurant of the area thanks to the lady who helps us keeping the house.
I like to receive my guest in Arsicci and to give them all the information they may need on what to do and what to see.

I speak and write a good italian and a more or less correct English; my french and spanish are more poor due to lack of frequent practice.
