CopperTree House is located in the East Hills of Eugene on a private cul-de-sac surrounded by Douglas fir trees but just minutes from the U of O and Downtown. Walk the Ridgeline Trail towards Mount Baldy or take a trail to Hendricks Park & the U of O. Or stay in to enjoy a private Sauna, covered Hot Tub & 2 Televisions with HD cable (w/Xfinity on Demand) & smart blu-ray players featuring free Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Hulu Plus w/Showtime!
-Smoking (or vaping) is NOT allowed in the apartment. Smoking is allowed outside only.
-People other than those in the Guest party may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person on the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. The Homeowner has not represented this unit as an event facility, therefore, there is a limit on the number of any visitors at any one time (in addition to registered occupants) of four (4). At no time may any of these visitors remain overnight or assume any Guest privileges whatsoever, including but not limited to the use of the kitchenette, Hot Tub or Sauna.
-The Homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
-Keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended purposes.
-We allow children with the following stipulations:
- Guests are responsible for any and all necessary 'baby proofing'.
- No children under 6 are permitted in the Hot Tub or Sauna.
- Children under age 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
-No children under the age of 6 are permitted in hot tub or Sauna at any time. When using the hot tub or Sauna, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this amenity. Use at your own risk. DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVER. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm. Use of glass containers of any kind in or near the Hot Tub, Sauna or Soaking tub is strictly prohibited.
-The use of the high-speed broadband internet connection is subject to the terms and conditions set forth by Comcast, Inc.
-Only one guest vehicle is allowed in the host driveway. Additional vehicles must be parked on the street.
-No pets are allowed.
-There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens, robes and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.
-A landline phone is provided for Guests use during the stay. International calls are blocked. No Pay-Per-Call calls are allowed and collect calls may NOT be accepted. US long distance calls are allowed and may be billed to the guest at the rate billed by our service provider. Long distance rates & fees are subject to change. Any collect calls accepted may include additional charges and are not allowed. Any charges billed to the Guest phone will be charged to Guest.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
Together since 1998, John and Kevin have lived at CopperTree House since 2003.
John is a former interior designer who is now helping people to go Gluten Free, teaching classes and providing consulting services through his website. He has recently begun releasing a series of Gluten Free cookbooks. Originally from Oklahoma, John has lived in Eugene since 1996 and graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Landscape Architecture.
Kevin grew up in Eugene. He moved to Portland in 1984 and graduated from Lewis and Clark College with a Theatre Degree. Kevin was a producer for the New Rose Theatre, a professional theatre company in downtown Portland, Oregon before joining his mother in her work as an Astrology counselor and published author. Kevin returned to Eugene in 1997 to help provide care for his parents as they aged. After his parents passed away, Kevin returned to Astrology and is now giving readings and teaching private classes through his website.
