I am really sorry to hear that you were disappointed. As you know I was away. I had left my new helper in charge of getting the chalet ready for you and it sounds like it may not have been up to standard. My apologies. It shouldn't have been the case.
Regarding the lights, as you were not met in person by me or Chris, which is extremely rare, you were not shown the separate switch to the 3 kitchen downlights. What a shame! I wish I had called you myself to check everything was fine instead of leaving you to call on my neighbour if necessary. A lesson learned.
I didn't know the shower head had been broken. It has now been replaced.
Your feedback has prompted me to look at creating a manual for guests when I am away and to make sure my helper is more aware of the standard expected.
