Mountainside, amazing view of Tremblant, between central Tremblant and the resort (5 minutes each). Private Jacuzzi open all year. Easy Ironman access. Warm, clean, cozy with fireplace and well equipped. A very quiet location but close to the action.
Nice well appointed living quarters with fireplace. Two rooms each have a king size bed and there is also a small room with bunk beds perfect for two kids. Wood floors and beams, inside bricks and stone fireplace. A very cozy house. The is also a loft that will be available if there are more than 4 adults in your party. The loft has a fireplace a king size bed and a sofa that converts into a Queen bed. Please note that the loft is never rented on its own.
You have private and full access to the upper floor (rooms, shower, bathtub) and the main floor (living room, kitchen, dining room). There is an independent loft apartment in the basement which is suitable if you are more than 4 adults. You need to book for a minimum of 7 to get access to the full house or there is an extra cleaning fee that might be applicable. Please note that the basement apartment is never rented on its own, but will not be accessible for less than 6 guests unless mutually agreed.
I am happy to give sound advice on an area and a community that I love, so please don't be shy to ask!
If you want someone to show you around, guiding you on a kayak trip, snowshoeing on a secluded mountain, and would live like a local, I am usually available for my guests on the weekend, if requested ahead. This of course if offered without charge.
Unless I am not in the area, I will stop by with the keys and a welcome gift basket at an mutual agreed time on you first day of arrival and answer any questions you may have. I believe in interaction with my guests, as this is not just a hotel booking, this is Airbnb where my house is yours, and in order for you to belong anywhere, there must be some interaction between host and guests.
After you arrival, if you prefer to be on your own, or somewhere in between that's just as fine and totally up to you, after all, it is your vacation.
Again, I'm very easy going, and as I see it, this house should be your home away from home.
You may listen to your own music or watch your favorite TV shows or a movie. Apple TV equipped HDTV with Netflix, cable, DVD, and High speed wifi that works around the house. There is an 8 seat private hot tub open year round. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and accessories for you to use, including an electric fondue set. Do not bring any condiments, spices, jams, flour or sugar as this is all here for you to use.
Request for 8 or more guests must require pre-approval.
A minimal stay of two night minimum does apply anytime. 3 night minimal stays do apply during Canada and US long weekends. Instant booking is not possible less than 24 hours prior to intended arrival or for Ironman weekends, Christmas, Easter and the months of February & March.
No pets of any kind please, as I do also rent my house to people with allergies who are also allowed to have a great vacation. No smoking in the house. No drug consumption or storage in the house at all times. No additional guests on the property at all times, unless mutually agreed.
I am very reasonable when it comes to the deposit and would not charge for minor things like a broken plate or a glass. I would appreciate your honesty and advise if anything is lost or broken so that it may be quickly be replaced for the next guests.
You may of course smoke outside on the terrace (far from the hot tub!) but you must dispose of your butts properly. Do no dispose of butts on the land or parking!
Please do not adjust the spa jets at any time as they tend to break easily. They are all set-up to work, so they do not need any tuning.
Please respect my house as it would be yours. No loud partying outside in respect to the neighbours. There are many great places for that in less than a 5 minute drive from the house for which I can give you good advice depending on your interest and night of week. I might actually take you to some of them if I am available and that you are up to it. You only need to ask!
I am very flexible with arrival and departure times unless I have a same day departure and arrival. This is a rare occurrence but when it happens, I will contact you as soon as I am aware to work this out to the satisfaction of all interested parties.
Wood is not included in your rental, please respect the wood that is there as it is for my own personal use There are some bags of wood available at your disposal for a cheaper price than what you will find at the store. If you are using the fire pit in summer, you must call the local police to ensure there are no fire ban prior to making a fire or you may risk in having to pay a hefty fine.
The alarm system must be enabled at all times when there is nobody in the house. Detailed instructions and unique entry code will be communicated to you prior to your rental. Please ensure everyone in your party is aware on how to properly use the alarm system.
Please empty trash and recycling to the outside bins upon your departure.
All skis, boots, skates and snowboards must be kept in the BASEMENT ENTRY please.
Mostly hardwood floors, which scratches easily, so please respect my home and remove shoes and boots as you walk in.
Of course, the number one rule is that you enjoy your stay!
