Mid-century sprawling brick ranch completely renovated features a finished lower level living space for you (1300 sq ft) with private entrance. It's one big open space best used by families or a couple since the only privacy is in the bathroom.
This space is best suited for families, a couple or business travelers or 4 really good friends since you are all sleeping in one LARGE open area in the lower level. People tell me all the time how comfortable and beautiful my house is. The finished lower level is 1300 sq feet and has 1 queen bed with featherbed topper, 2 queen 24" high inflatable mattresses with pillow top. NO MORE THAN 4 ADULTS, 6 PEOPLE TOTAL.
The lower level has a full-sized refrigerator, 1950's electric range with double ovens, new toaster oven, electric skillet, a microwave, 10-cup coffee pot and filters, Keurig, washer/dryer, pots, pans, cooking and baking utensils.
A 52" HDTV and BluRay with free Amazon Prime, Netflix and Pandora You Tube accounts for your use. NOTE: I do not have cable.
The bathroom has a shower only, no tub. Plenty of fluffy towels and washcloths, hair dryer, soap, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner.
BRING A SWEATER (I provide one fluffy robe) as the basement is always 5 degrees cooler than the upstairs and I do keep my house on the cool side both in summer and winter.
I have a very active life and you will likely be in St Louis for a specific purpose so I respect your desire to just have a clean, safe, comfortable place to come and go as you like. I'm thrilled to share my knowledge of STL if you want to know where to go, what to see. I'm always eager to get to know people but I will leave that up to you as to how much interaction you want.
You will be entering the apartment at the rear of the house, so you'll walk along the left side of the house following the brick paver walkway to the patio and you'll see the staircase down to the basement. It's well-lit at night but not covered so you'll need an umbrella going to and from your car to the apartment is 30 to 40 paces and then down 8 steps.

As a RE/MAX Realtor for the past 30 years, I appreciate lovely, well-kept homes and therefore want to share mine with others who vacation in St Louis. I can't wait to meet each new person who graces my doorstep since hospitality is one of my gifts. When I'm not working, (which is rare) I dine at one of our dozens of local one-of-a-kind restaurants, garden, bike, read, study the Bible, listen to live music, clean something or play with my long-haired dachshund Reagan.
World travel is a passion of mine but now I'm focusing on seeing more of our great USA. I've explored the East Coast while working on a small cruise ship at age 27; Bicycled New Zealand, Italy and Michigan; Backpacked thru SE Asia; Cruised thru the Mediterranean; skied Utah, Colorado & Canada... and as a Scuba diver explored Roatan, Bonaire and Costa Rica and Australia. With a wanderlust for travel, I appreciate affordable lodging so you can spend the majority of your money on dining out and exploring new areas.
My backyard is like a private Botanical Gardens and I can't help myself at a nursery even when I don't have space for more plants. I love cooking for others, especially if it means trying out a new recipe.
