Brilliantly SUNNY, peaceful, restful, private room with balcony overlooking a lush yard, set back from street = no street noise! 1 block from Loyola U., 3 blocks to CTA Red Line train. Second floor, full-sized FUTON (Japanese firm mattress), shared bathroom.
Large, elegantly furnished room on the second floor of a historic (1920) building. Full-sized futon, balcony, dresser, clothes rack, coat hooks, full-length mirror, desk + portable lap-desk.
WiFi (no TV), kitchen (gas stove, microwave, toaster oven), free laundry done FOR you, iron/board, hoola-hoops! You are welcome to borrow my sturdy slow bicycle known as "the tank".
I enjoy helping guests as they explore the wonderful Edgewater neighborhood and city! I'm available but also respectful of your privacy. I have 2 wonderfully friendly dogs (small Barney + medium-sized Agnes), who you can either close out of your room or welcome in!
A peaceful, restful spot that is ideal for tourists and students, and always friendly to LGBTQIA, POC, immigrants, refugees, and other than a flight of stairs, visitors of different abilities. Welcome!
When you send me your introductory note, please confirm that you are OK with 2 friendly dogs being here. Please no parties, smoking, nor drugs. Thank you for keeping the shared bathroom and kitchen tidy.

Welcome! I'm a New Yorker who has lived in Chicago for twelve years! From the Big Apple to the Pungent Onion (which is what the Native American word Chicago means)! I greatly enjoy meeting and hosting visitors human and sometimes canine (I also do pet-sitting, sometimes at my home, sometimes elsewhere). Ask me if you can bring your pet, and it may be possible to arrange it. I do calligraphy, gardening, bike riding, reading, music, and theatre (sometimes attending, other times performing).
