We are proud to offer our newly remodeled guest house (by us!). Craftsman style NW home with attached one bedroom guest house. Local art and a mix of new and vintage furniture contribute to it's eclectic/modern/cabin style. Very comfortable one bedroom guest house with new firm memory foam mattress, high thread count cotton linens, and nice towels. The living area has a comfortable queen sized sleeper sofa to sleep an extra two if needed. Private entrance and fenced in yard. Wifi, DirecTV, book collection, DVDs, full kitchen w/ organic spices, full bath and all natural toiletries. A block from Forks proper, and a wonderful jump off point for much of the Olympic National Park (beaches, rainforest, etc). Enjoy what the West End of the beautiful Olympic Peninsula has to offer, and relax after a long day in the comforts of "home"!
A front yard with patio furniture / outdoor eating space. Small grill available in the summer months.
We are not normally at the home upon check-in. Guests check themselves in anytime after 4pm. Earlier arrival can be arranged if cleared by owners first. We (owners) are sometimes staying in the home next door. We would love to say "Hi" & help with any questions/needs, but you can keep the stay as private as you'd like. Try giving us a call or email first, as the folks next door may be renters as well. If we're not staying on the property...we're just a phone call away and happy to help with any questions/needs.
Parking is available on the street directly in front of the guest house.
***please note when booking via instant book - we try only to accept one night stays if they fill an already existing gap in bookings. Feel free to inquire about a one night stay, and we'll let you know ASAP if we can accommodate you. Thank you!
We ask that you treat our home like you would your own - with respect. We understand that accidents happen, so please let us know if one does so that we are aware of the issue.
We also ask that you strip all used beds, and start any used dishes in the dishwasher before check-out. This is NOT a party house (this is a place to have some fun though!). Although the two rentals (see our other listing) are quite private - it is set up similar to a duplex, so we appreciate that you don't bring a DJ or decide to host band practice in our home out of respect for your neighbors.
NO smoking is permitted in the home. We ask that you go outside if you plan to smoke. Please dispose of all "butts" in the outdoor trash as to not stink up the place.
Pets are only permitted with prior permission, and require an extra fee. Any pets on the property without approval will result in a $100 fee.

We are an adventurous couple enjoying life on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula! We are originally from Vermont, but landed in the Pacific Northwest about 10 years ago, and don't plan on leaving any time soon! We love our roots in VT, but there is just WAY too much to explore out here in WA. We split our time between the Forks area, and Glacier/Mt. Baker area (to be near surf in the summer, and the snowy mountains in the winter). Justin works as a cinematographer in the ski/snowboard industry in the winters, freelancing in other genres in his off season. I help manage a lodge on the Olympic Peninsula, property management, nanny, doula, etc. I am also currently studying holistic nutrition. We LOVE our flexible lifestyle - allowing us to enjoy all of the seasons, travel, and our friends and family near and far. We recently bought, and gutted an old home in Forks, WA. Originally built in the early 20's, it is now newly remodeled from the guts to the exterior. We did our best to reclaim as many materials as possible - repurposing a lot of the old growth trim, floors, etc. to help maintain it's northwest craftsman appeal. We were also very lucky to have incredible resources from the Forks lumber mills to "shop local" while re-building the home. Most importantly, we were very fortunate to have A LOT of help from friends and family members to make our little dream happen. We have the main house set up as a living space for us - but have recently outfitted it to be a part time rental as well (see 2 BR listing). The "guest house" is our one bedroom apartment/suite. We love creating spaces, and I think we have done a nice job at offering a comfortable, cozy, and inspiring getaway for the traveling folk like us. We hope you enjoy your stay, and all that this beautiful area has to offer. We love giving advice on local attractions, hikes, day if you have any questions about the local area don't be afraid to ask! Want to go surfing? We can hook you up with rentals and lessons! Want personal catering for your stay? Ask us about our healthy "dinner-in" meals for two or the whole family! Looking forward to hosting you ;)
