The Hydeaway Bed and Breakfast is located in the very walkable Logan Circle/U Street neighborhood and features a suite and two bedrooms for our guests. Or, for more privacy and easy access, you may be interested in our two garden level/basement apartment vacation rentals: Hydeaway Studio and Hydeaway Apartment. The Bed and Breakfast is less than 2 blocks from the U Street/Cardozo Metro station (Green & Yellow lines). 2 stops to the Washington Convention Center, 2 more to the National Mall and Smithsonian Museums. The neighborhood is one of the best in DC, with a large array of restaurants, grocery, Studio Theatre & Lincoln Theatre's, and great shopping within walking distance. Safe, Clean and exceptionally convenient to all Washington has to offer.

There are more than 30 restaurants within a 5 to 15 minute walk, including Le Diplomate, Matchbox, Dukem (Ethopian), Busboys and Poets -- just naming a few. Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and Safeway grocery stores are as close as 1 block up to a 5 block walk. Convenience stores, pharmacies, bars and clubs are all also within an easy walk.

I live on property, but have my own private quarters. I also still work outside of the Bed and Breakfast, so I'm available by phone at all times. I make every effort to create a welcoming, yet quiet and peaceful home. Breakfast on weekday mornings is an expanded continental, and a full home cooked breakfast on weekends.
