Ideal for park visitors, island explorers or outer island retreats. Explore the National Park and other nearby hikes and beaches. Gigi’s Volcano Cottage is a cute and cozy cottage nestled into a quiet and peaceful private road, tucked away in a tropical paradise, surrounded by the gorgeous Volcano rainforest. A non-smoking pet-free environment with a private driveway and private entrance, you can come and go at your convenience with complete privacy. The cozy cottage is complete with a queen bed, plenty of pillows to choose from, extra blankets, 2 person dining table, desk, hi speed internet, HD smart tv, full size washer and dryer, fridge and freezer, ice maker, coffee maker, Keurig, double burner hot plate, toaster oven, full bathroom with tub and shower, space heater, black out curtains and a gas grill. Kitchen also comes with plenty of coffee, tea, cocoa and even condiments and seasonings. It’s just such a sweet little spot. Very peaceful, comfortable, cozy and oh so quiet.

Inside or outside Volcanoes National Park there is so much to do and see and experience. Our little village is the perfect spot to just chill. Much cooler than down at sea level and way less humidity, we have a sweet little hidden rainforest retreat. Hidden just perfectly between the green and black sand beaches, the eclectic Pahoa and old skool Hawai'i in Hilo town, you have the perfect hidden retreat.

Come and experience it for yourself. There is nowhere else in the world quite like it.

Gigi’s Volcano Cottage is located in a beautiful private area far enough from main roads to really enjoy true privacy, peace and quiet, but close enough to be able to drive to nearby Volcano Winery, Volcano National Park, Sunday’s Farmers Market and many other popular spots in just a few minutes. In the Volcano Village there are five restaurants, a few coffee shops, three general stores, and a tiny post office.
Local food includes the Aunti Pons Thai Food Truck, Lava Rock Cafe, Thai Thai Bistro and Bar, O'helo Cafe, Eagle's Lighthouse Cafe, Cafe Ono, Uncle George's Lounge at Volcano House and the Kilauea Lodge.
A tropical rain forest at 4,000 feet elevation provides the most perfect temperatures and comfortable climate. Light sweater or t-shirt weather most of the time. Volcano is indeed a treasure unlike any other place in the world.

I accidentally moved to Hawaii almost 30 years ago when I came on vacation and somehow got a job on the beach wearing a bikini and taking photos of tourists and exotic birds. What a great start to what turned into the most incredible adventure!

I am beyond blessed to live somewhere that has so much to offer and I am excited to share my backyard with you!
