I am married to John we have 4 children between us - Alanna our youngest is at university in Wellington this year. Our son Caleb and his wife Rebecca have two beautiful children. Johns eldest son lives in Western Australia. We have a middle son Ollie who is also at university this year.
We came back to Napier 11 years ago after living on Great Barrier Island for 20 years where we built and ran holiday chalets for 17 years. We loved meeting all the people and would often have a barbecue where we could get to know them better. We came back to Napier to give our youngest two children more opportunities than what was available on Great Barrier. We have a lovely home in Napier which lends itself to having a Bed and Breakfast facet to it. Hawkes Bay has many attractions which can entertain guests and we are proud of all that it has to offer. We also love meeting people from all around and often enjoy a few hours getting to know them and hearing of their lives and adventures. We can point you in the right direction to vineyards, cycle and walk ways, Art Deco attractions and a wonderful choice of restaurants and cafes. Napier and Hawkes Bay is very easy to get around - it offers a wide variety of activities without the hassle of traffic. We have a vibrant urban market which we love to attend each Saturday which showcases all the fantastic produce our region has to offer.
I love to cook. We have travelled to UK, Ireland, Italy, Australia, Niue and Fiji and would love to travel more. That is why we so enjoy having people come to stay - we feel we are travelling by getting to know someone from somewhere. We look forward to meeting all you wonderful people and sharing some time with you. We also plan to share our time between Napier and Great Barrier Island where we still have our home there. John regularly travels between our two homes as he still has work on Great Barrier. We are planning to set up accommodation options on the island again so watch this space!!!!
