"Big Tiny" House is a private, quiet, and cozy get-away that is surrounded by beautiful views of Fox Lake and the Coastal Range. We are 15 minutes or less from the town of Silverton, the Silver Falls State Park, and the Oregon Garden.
Big Tiny is the larger of two tiny houses available on the property.

Big Tiny is a new listing that has a "reverse" floor plan. The living area is built on top of the main bedroom. No more climbing steep stairs in the dark!! There is also a loft with a full bed. Note: Both sleeping areas have a low (about a four foot) ceiling.
Big Tiny has a full kitchen including a standard refrigerator, four burner range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, and everything you need to cook for yourself. There is also full bathroom with shower, sink and even a flush toilet. (Because we use an above ground septic tank with limited space we do ask guests to only flush for solids. )
The living room includes a full sofa and armchair. Also, we have a portable DVD player with DVDs for entertainment. Also, because this is a tiny house on wheels it will likely “rock” in strong winds.
*Please follow directions to Big Tiny carefully. It is at the top of the property next to the solar panels.

My husband, Helmuth, and I met in Bolivia over 20 years ago. We have travelled quite a bit together since then, especially to Germany where he was born and grew up. We still love to travel with our three teenaged kids whether it is around the beautiful state of Oregon, throughout the United States, or internationally. A trip is always on the horizon. This is probably why we have decided to start with Airbnb. The best part of traveling is meeting new people! We work hard on our farm but always find time to get out and enjoy the beautiful rivers and trails around Oregon. We will be around if you need us, but plan to leave you alone to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. We do lots of entertaining, especially in the summer. We particularly enjoy sitting on the front deck watching the sun set over the Coastal Range and then looking up at the starlit night.
It is very important to us that you feel comfortable and welcomed. Please let us know if there is anything that you need to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
