Gorgeous private home and yard, rear gate opening onto Hawthorne Park. Quiet street, 200 meters to movies, night markets, restaurants, cafés and gift stores. Pets Ok on approval. Safe upmarket river suburb with a leafy village vibe.
Hawthorne has an amazing village feel to it. The local area is full of cafes, restaurants, gift stores and old fashioned movie theatres. The park at the rear of the house has a riding/walking track and exercise equipment. There is also a shaded and fenced child's playground, tennis wall and basketball hoop. The park also plays host to night markets every second Friday.
The house itself comes fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay including great undercover deck, all linen, great kitchen fit out so you can actually cook family meals, a Computer with free Wifi and a fully fenced yard. There are also 2 large reverse cycle air conditioning units to keep you cool in summer and cosy in winter.
You will love spending time on the covered rear deck overlooking the park, whilst cooking a BBQ and having a beer or glass of wine. After dinner take a walk across the park to the vintage movie theatre (or the brand new gold class $14.50) and see a latest release $8.50 adults or $4.50 per child or take a walk around the night markets (every second Friday).
The entire house and yard is for your private use, during your stay. This is NOT a "town home" and you do-not have to share with other guests.
Although I encourage guests to be self suficient and self checkin is available. I live locally, personally manage 3 properties and I am available via phone or text during reasonable hours, 7 days per week.
Guests are expected to relax and enjoy themselves in and around Brisbane city. We do have a strict NO PARTY policy to protect our much loved neighbours. Excess noise will not be tolerated. Small family gatherings or a dinner would be acceptable. All guests and pets must be approved by the manager prior to booking.
Upon checkout we ask that you remove all rubbish to the outside bins provided, the dishes are either done or placed in dishwasher and turned on, with benches wiped. Checkout is strictly 10am unless prior arrangement had been made.

Pets must be kept off the soft furnishings at all times for the comfort of our future non pet loving visitors!
Any damage caused by your pets is your responsibility and will need to be paid for in full.

Hi there potential guests and possible hosts.
My husband (Richard) and I would love to host you at one of our properties "Chill Camp Hill", "Hawthorne on the Park" or our most recent addition "Bella Bulimba". We have both lived in Brisbane for over 25 years and we love our city! Whats more, we also love our little corner of Brisbane, yes we live in Camp Hill (only 5 mins from Hawthorne and Bulimba). So if you need help with the where/what/why we are more than happy to point you in the right direction.
We love to socialise and eating out with friends or entertaining guests at home is what we do.
We also love to travel, however now that we are getting a little bit older we love the comforts of home. The 3 properties are decked out with all the important stuff... too many to list but a clean kitchen, aircon, dishwasher, comfy beds and outdoor entertaining area (especially in warm climates) are our must haves these days.
