My family(myself, husband, mom, 2 boys-5yrs & 1yr old) really enjoyed our stay at Tim's place. The pictures were pretty spot on but does no justice. This place is beautiful! It was a perfect central place with little shops, near the grocery store, gas stations and most of all, right down the street from Kamaole Beach. Tim also had a closet full of beach gear(snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, coolers, etc.). The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need. From baking pans to essential condiments(maybe not ketchup and mustard, but that's all we bought in that department).
Checking in was easy. Tim actually gave me a call within the same week that I booked to explain all the details and I also received an email closer to my arrival date. The check-in office is near the pool(you will also see signs). We received the the rules of the complex. The receptionist was nice.
The only thing I was a little hesitant with was with the pool. They did specify that they did not allow any loud noises, including NO Marco Polo, which was fine, but when my husband took my oldest to the pool, he came back and said he got some weird looks from some of the guests because my son was laughing and having fun(he said some people actually left...don't know if my son was the reason but felt weird). I thought it was funny hearing it, so the next day I went down with my husband and two boys to see for myself. It was honestly the most quietest pool I've ever been to. There were about 5 other people swimming but if my son laughed or looked like it was having some kind of fun we would get weird looks. I told my son not to yell but I wasn't going to stop him from having fun or laugh. It's a kid in a pool for goodness sake. So parents, don't be surprised if you get little looks here and there. Other than that, Tim's place is pretty ideal for a great family vacation =)
