This home, featured in architecture publications, is unique and welcoming. Beautifully detailed and set in a mature garden, it is convenient to bus, parks, shopping and an easy bike to downtown or UofO. Host is available right across the courtyard.
Our house is unique! Designed by architects to optimize 'livability', it reflects the detailed craftsmanship and materials to support comfort without ostentation, and is surrounded by a mature garden which is our joy. Our home is full of reminders of a lifetime of world travel and family hilarity. We welcome you to be a part of these.
You will enjoy 'home' while you are here! From the old fashioned front porch, to the living areas full of books and mementos, our home invites you to relax and enjoy. There are also a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, laundry, half bath and mudroom downstairs. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a large bath with both a clawfoot tub and tiled shower. A family room has a TV/VCR. Although you will be amazed at how private it is for an intown home, you will also savor the views of Spenser Butte and forested hillsides as well.
Please remember: no smoking, no guns no pets.
Across the landscaped patio is where you will find us if you have any needs.
Otherwise, we will check you in and respect your privacy.
We do not restrict your activities, but do ask that you respect our neighbors' needs for quiet after 10pm and until 7:30 am.
At our house, you will find the biggest world map you have ever encountered!!
We expect guests to have a wonderful time. Often they come to celebrate a passage--graduation, sporting event, wedding--and we expect a festive atmosphere.
We also expect our guests to be respectful of neighbors. Please don't park in front of driveways, etc. and honor outdoor quiet hours between 10pm and 7:30 am.

A not quite retired psychotherapist, I love the cultural and natural opportunities in and around Eugene. I enjoy being in nature, gardening, music, friends and gathering friends, social justice issues, and books, books, books!
