Our Inner Sunset apartment is ideally located on a quiet street, but near 9th & Irving Inner Sunset district, UCSF Medical Center, Cole Valley, de Young Museum and California Academy of Science. Within a few blocks of Golden Gate Park, and public transportation (N-Judah, various bus lines) and countless restaurants, cafes, bakery, shops, laundromat, dry cleaners, grocery, convenience stores, etc. Located on 15th Avenue between Irving and Lincoln.
This is a private apartment on a very quiet street in a well-maintained and beautiful Edwardian house. Living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and bath. Cable TV with movie channels, super high-speed wireless internet, big-screen TV, access to backyard.
Guests have access to 1 BR apartment with separate entrance, although there are common areas that are shared with host.
We live on the upper floors of the house and are available if guests require assistance

Our standard check-in time is 4 pm on the day you arrive, and the check-out time is 11 am on the day you depart. We often have back-to-back stays, so early check in or late check out may not be possible, but we will try our best to accommodate your request and schedule.
You should be able to find a non-metered parking spot on the street nearby. Please do not park in the driveway, except to load or unload your suitcases upon arrival or departure.
We have a high-speed wireless Internet / wi-fi system.
You are free to use our backyard, but not until we introduce you to our dog “Ocho.”
We are very near Golden Gate Park, but the entrances are at either 9th Avenue or 19th Avenue. The 9th Avenue entrance has many more attractions, including the Japanese Tea Garden, Botanical Garden, the de Young Museum, the California Academy of Sciences and the Children’s Playground. Our house was built in 1913 and has old pipes. Please do not put anything in the toilet other than toilet paper.
We have Comcast Cable and a DVR that you are free to use. It has many movie channels and on-demand programs.
There is a laundromat at the corner of Irving and 15th Avenue (less than 1/2 block away) and a wash and fold service and dry cleaner on Irving between 14th and 15th Ave.
The closest grocery store is Andronico’s on Irving at 13th/Funston. Other grocery chains nearby include Whole Foods, Bi-Rite, Trader Joe’s and Safeway.
On Sunday mornings, you should check out the farmer’s market between 8th and 9th Avenue in the parking lot between Irving and Judah St.
There are so many great shops, restaurants and coffee shops nearby that it would take pages to list them.
In addition to taxis, you can download an app for your smart phone for Uber, Lyft or Sidecar, all of which make getting around the city very easy and avoid the parking headaches and costs. If you don’t have a car but want to explore the surrounding area, checkout Zip Car or City Car Share.
A few important rules with respect to the apartment:
- No pets or overnight guests without prior permission.
- No parties
- No smoking either inside the apartment, or in the hallway or back yard. If you are a smoker, please go out front to smoke.
- Be courteous
In the unlikely event there is any damage or if excessive cleaning is required, we reserve the right to keep and apply the deposit.
