Our self-contained studio comfortably fits two.
It is clean, light, bright and well-appointed with a private terrace.
Our part of Cambridge Terrace is a superb location - close To many activities- Avon river punting, a coffee at the Boatshed Cafe, museum, botanical gardens, central city shopping.
Our lovely studio apartment is very bright and airy, with double entrance french doors opening onto a sunny, spacious terrace.
Inside is a relaxing area with a leather sofa. The entire area is tiled (slippers are recommended in the cooler months).
A double-size bed (slightly smaller than Queen size) is behind the sofa.
The kitchen area is well/equipped with stove top, oven, microwave and fridge/freezer.
Between the main room and the bathroom is a utility space with an LG washer / dryer machine and sink. You can air-dry your clothes outside on the terrace drying line if you prefer.
There is a separate toilet and a bathroom. The bathroom has a bath and a wet-floor shower, as well as a vanity area.
The apartment is underneath the office of our house and is private and fenced.
The property is in a gated area.
You will be given a gate key when you check in.
We have a parking area available for your car inside our gates (please specify at time of booking).
We are in such a great part of town; walking distance to many sights.
I will be there to check you in and will give you a number to call for any information or questions you may have. I like to give my guests privacy and let you come to me if you need anything.

I am a Christchurch native. My husband Warren is from Hawkes Bay. We live in a lovely house overlooking a quiet area of the Avon River, near the Antigua Boatsheds and the newly-developed Watermark project. We keep ourselves busy with projects and our small businesses (which includes a bustling Italian restaurant in Merivale) . My husband and I have backgrounds in aviation (he as a commercial pilot, me in auditing and training). We are interested in the beauty of, and problems facing the environment. When we can escape, we like to travel to calm, open spaces - Tekapo, Mount Cook and the West Coast (anywhere in the South Island ) are favourites.
