A comfortable bedroom with a double bed, small fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. It has an en-suite bathroom and an easy access private entrance which opens onto a patio overlooking the garden. In walking distance to village and bushwalks.
A fresh, comfortable room, which is completely separate from the main house, provides you with your own private accommodation.
The en-suite is modern, bright and spacious with a large shower and drawers to pack personal items. Towels, bathmat, soap, shampoo, hair dryer and tissues are provided.
A small fridge, kettle and TV is supplied. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cups, plates, bowls, salt, pepper, cutlery and glasses are available for your convenience. No cooking facilities are provided.
The room has a small table and two chairs with a large selection of brochures and publications with information and ideas of things to do in the area.
A cupboard provides ample hanging space. Bedside tables with drawers provide further packing space. An electric blanket in winter complements the comfortable double bed. The reverse cycle air conditioning unit or an oil fin heater are available for your comfort.
We are ideally located midway between the charming Blackheath village and scenic Govetts Leap in the Blue Mountains National Park. We are within walking distance of many bushwalks. The National Parks information and retail centre is a 10 minute walk from our home.
Off street parking is available in front of the house or directly across the road. Access to your room is via a level paved path from the street alongside the house.
Open your door and enjoy the peace and quiet of our north-facing covered patio whilst looking over the garden and watching the native birds.
Or sit under the trees in the garden with a cup of tea or glass of wine while planning your activities. We may be pottering around the garden and will be happy to share our local knowledge,
We are well-travelled and love meeting new faces and will make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. During your stay, we'll be home, but the nature of your room gives you total privacy and independence allowing you to come and go as you wish.
A selection of books and brochures of the area is available and we enjoy sharing our local knowledge.

David was born in Canada and after many years of back packing decided to settle in Australia. He loves the outdoors, birdwatching, gardening, history, listening to jazz and cooking.
Karen Rose originally comes from South Africa and had lived in Australia since 2000. She shares David's love of the outdoors and in her spare time enjoys reading, walking and being involved with the local community.
Together we are very happy living in the beautiful Blue Mountains and spending time travelling around New South Wales in our camper trailer.
