Great apartment and great location for touring the Loire valley. Blois is a charming small town. The Saturday market is a must if you are there on the weekend. You can get by in the Chateaus without any French, but if you want to enjoy some of the great authentic experiences and food Blois has to offer, be sure to memorize some basic phrases and important words. Have dinner no later than 7, the good local places close aren't open that late. Also, it might be a good idea to make reservations -- particularly on weekends.
Parking wasn't a problem and the apartment was very nice: Good shower; pretty courtyard; comfortable bed. The apartment has a lot of personality. It's nice to have a full kitchen en suite. Situated close enough to heart of town to walk to anything easily, but far enough away to be peaceful. Blois Chateau and two impressive Cathedrals are a short walk away and are worth checking out. Carla has good restaurant recommendations, be sure to ask!
If your driving and you are unfamiliar with the area, it may be wise to park outside the main town and walk to the apartment -- map out a way to get to close parking and note the direction of the one way roads before going.
