Small Victorian house in the heart of historic Stratford - overlooking Shakespeare's Birthplace and its beautiful walled garden. Open plan ground floor, upstairs two double bedrooms and a bathroom. Moments from RSC, Shakespeare Centre, restaurants and bars.
The house is a small townhouse on the corner of Guild street and Great William street. Downstairs is open plan with a small functional kitchen looking out on to living area consisting of two sofas, TV, table and chairs. Upstairs are two small double bedrooms and a bathroom with a wardrobe cupboard on the landing. Both bedrooms look out on to Guild Street and Shakespeare's birthplace garden.
We have a visitors' parking permit available for local on-street parking which is just a short walk from the house.
Freshly laundered bed sheets and towels are provided.
Guests will have access to a washing machine, microwave, oven, fridge, TV, ironing board and iron, washing up liquid, sponges, t-towels, blanket and throw kept in landing wardrobe, kettle, toaster, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans. There is s rolling supply of tea/coffee/salt/pepper.
There is no wifi in the house.
We do not live in Stratford but have family there so we know it well. We are not in town when guests stay but they will have access to keys to the house which makes arriving and departing easy and flexible. We are only a phone call or an email away should our guests need anything.
We have one visitors' parking permit available for local on-street parking in areas marked S2.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
This house is ideal for a long weekend stay.
The house does not have wifi but there are a number of shops 2 minutes away where wifi is available (Neros, Subway, Costa). Free open wifi from Shakespeare's Birthplace is sometimes available inside the house.
