Classic Capitol Hill home on a quiet street with renovated and light-filled interiors, exposed brick, gourmet kitchen, amazing outdoor space & 4 BR/2BA. Great for families/groups, and steps to Lincoln Park, E. Market, US Capitol and two metro stops!
Not only is our home right in the middle of one of the most historic and charming neighborhoods in the nation, but it is freshly renovated and big! In fact, one of the most common themes amoung Hill residents is "width envy." With some row houses only measuring 9 feet wide, our home ranks amoung some of the largest and deepest on Capitol Hill. We also have a stunning screened porch and backyard space where we spend countless hours relaxing and entertaining. Between an open floor plan, 2 queen beds, 3 twin beds, 2 twin air mattresses and plenty of comfy seating space, there is ample room for everyone in your party to stretch out after a long day of sightseeing in DC.
Guests have access to our entire home, two private off-street parking spots, outdoor entertaining space and everything the Hill has to offer from restaurants, galleries, parks and tourist sights!
We aim to be the most helpful owners to our guests without interfeering in any way with their stay. We will never be present during a guest's stay, but will be reachable and accessible in case any needs arise.
Our home has a flat screen TV, cable, WiFi, a small library, a giant soaking tub with a double shower and about every kitchen gadget you could want!
Guests are not allowed to host parties or events at our home unless we give permission ahead of time. Also, unless discussed before stay, at no time are there to be more people than stipulated in the reservation present at our home. There is to be absolutely no smoking and no pets.
Overall, we just expect our guests to treat our home as they would their own, and to enjoy it as much as we do! Any violation of these rules will result in forfeiture of the security deposit and a significant fine.
We are a family of 5 living the urban life right in the heart of Capitol Hill. We love our city and our neighborhood and enjoy exploring its nooks and crannies every day!
