The Come & Go Bungalow is inspired by its historic around it. This "simply living" space offers modern amenities and a peaceful ambiance inside or while sitting under the canopy of the giant pecan trees. Both patio & lawn space for games, grilling or relaxing. Come & Go easily as you are a mere 3 blocks to the Comal river, the same to downtowns eateries and taverns! Owner welcomes questions and invites you to feel local on your first of many stays!

The Come & Go is a one bedroom with a queen bed, TV, and a cozy pull out couch in the bedroom. The living area has an Ikea couch which makes in to a comfy queen bed and this space is separated from the bedroom by bamboo curtains.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle & all basic utensils for grilling or cooking needs. The kitchen bar seats 4 and has vintage sliding windows as a pass through to the outdoor bar seating. Two mini splits for quiet heat and cooling and there is one bathroom with a shower. All linens and bath towels are provided.
There is plenty of outdoor chairs, table and the grill works with propane and/or charcoal. ( propane tank will be filled and ready) Yard games of Corn Hole & Ladder Ball are provided too!
The yard is fenced and the trees and plants along the fencing provide great privacy. Recycling encouraged and smoking only outside!

River access !You have access to an easement to the Comal river when staying here.
Fun fact, while all the modern conveniences are provided and only hints of historical attributes adorn the Come & Go, according to the city's historic preservationist owner's quarters was built in 1895 and the Come & Go in 1920; making this property eligible for historic designation. (owner respects this but has not pursued ) Guests curious about the history of this neighborhood are welcome to view the original paperwork retained by the owner. (upon request)

The Come & Go Cottage is on a corner lot with the owner's house in front. Not to worry the owner Tina will respect your privacy by utilizing her front area when home but also making herself available to provide hospitality needs, directions, info or any assistance upon request or invitation. She has had the pleasure of traveling about and now takes pleasure in sharing her Come & Go with travelers like you!
****I love being Pet Friendly and only recently added a one time pet fee of $40.00 - to assist the cleaning time/ pet hair. I am hoping this is fair and passed along to cleaners for their time! A list of pet friendly eateries, bars, farmers market ad more will be I cottage - all walking distance from here!
Pets are very-welcome! I do not discriminate against breed or size - just hoping to have pets friendly to other animals while here! There are stray cats & other wildlife cross the yard and an endless stream of deer right outside the fence! Please let me know you are bringing a pet at booking & upon arrival give the stray cats a moment to know there is a new dog in the yard and all will be fine!!
