I have been a host for Airbnb for the past 3 years, I always treat all my guests with respect. If anyone read my reviews, you probably see a few who disagree because there are some people in this world, no matter what you do, nothing will be enough for them. I don't usually response to reviews because I will let the majority of guests speak for me. I resent the fact I've been accused for being rude when I tried to address an issue concerning the policy of the listing with dishonest individual. I did not push my way to the door. I walked in with the extra guest that beth try hide me. 6 months ago, Beth booked on the apartment located in the first floor listed with accommodation for 4 persons. 4 weeks before her trip, I asked her to let me know what time she will reach NYC because I usually buy pizza and chicken with water and sodas for all the guests. She replied 3 of us get in at 1:30 and we may have one earlier. She asked me if the sofa in the living room make into bed because she wants to bring an extra person. I replied any extra person will pay $ 50 extra. She said according to Airnb website, it says no charge for extra person. I texted back and stated why would I put extra persons are free when they are using all the utilities. She said ok no problem. Everything that I mentioned here concerning our conversation is documented on text record from Aibnb. June 13 around 3:15 pm, her friend Karen came and I gave a tour of the apartment and she complimented me " the apartment is bib, beautiful and clean". I bought pizza, chickens, water and sodas for 4 persons. After I gave the tour and explained everything to her friend Karen, I told her anything you want, please ask and I will try my best to accommodate you and I left for work.
The next day, I was talking to my guest in French in front of the building around 8:30 pm, I saw 3 people came and I asked who is Beth and she said I am and I replied I am Louis and glad to meet you. Meanwhile, 2 other female who were walking with them walked passed straight as if they were not with Beth and her 2 friends, after the 2 friends passed the building , they returned and walked passed me and I said to my self the total of them is 5 not 4 people . I walked with the other 2 while the door was opened and asked Beth why you bring 5 people when the accommodation is for 4 people? She replied to me and she said you are working for Airbnb and Airbnb has a website that says extra people are free. I replied to her, I am the owner of this house, I do not work for Arbnb. I am the one set the rules for the apartment. I told Beth that I AM NOT GOING TO CHARGE YOU EXTRA FOR BRINGING A 5TH PERSON. Your friend can stay for free. I said good night to you ladies and closed the door behind me. I IMMEDIATELY REPORTED EVERYTHING TO AN AIBNB AGENT because I knew she was going to write a bad review or accused me of something I did not do. All the lights in the apartment are working. The same way she asked for me if there was a parking spot to park her car temporary, she could of easily tell me one of the light was not working. All the issue was resolved and from that time, she texted twice to asked for a parking and the night before she checked out and asked me where she should leave the keys. I replied to her , leave the keys on the table and check out is at 11 a. I did not push the door open on them because I walked in the same time with her two friends and the door was open because they were waiting for them to come in. I knocked and asked to speak with Beth while the door was opened(URL HIDDEN)
