Flott beliggenhet kun ett steinkast unna vannet, den berømte Santa Monica Pier og shopping området 3. Street. Innsjekk og alt gikk fint med koder og passord til dører og WIFI. Vi var heldige og fikk plass på parkering rett utenfor. Vi var 2 familier på totalt 6 personer. (3 voksene og 3 barn, 12, 12 og 15 år) leiligheten var over 2 etasjer med inngang i underetasjen. Huset bærer preg av å være gammelt og bygget i tre. Det var relativt lytt mellom rommene og leilighetene som forøvrig huser så mange som 9 leiligheter i forskjellige størrelser. Sengen kunne med fordel vært større og mykere noe som gjorde opplevelsen litt dårligere enn forventet. Kjøkkenet var slitt og manglet en del håndtak her og der. Burde nok forventet litt høyere standard prisen tatt i betraktning men alt i alt en flott opplevelse. Grillkjøkkenet ute i felles Hagen var supert. Boblebadet (Spa) var lite innbydende og ble droppet. Det er en del småting som kunne gjort dette til en fantastisk opplevelse men som desverre trekker ned. Vi har leid 2 andre hus på vår 3 uker lang ferie i USA og synes dette var den beste beliggenheten men dårligst standard. 4 av 6 er terningkastet. Men alt i alt en fin opplevelse og vi hadde 4 fine dager i juli her.

We were a group of 5 and stayed in the four bedroom apartment for 3 nights. I understand due to recent changes in local regulations, short term rentals are no longer available at this property The house is split into 4 or 5 separate units with a great shared area with a huge BBQ and outdoor jacuzzi. The host Andrew was great, send a lot of useful information in advance of us arriving and arranged a call a few days before to check if we had any questions. The apartment was clean and well stocked with towels etc. We had a problem with the electrics on the second day, I messaged Andrew and he responded immediately, sending someone round within s couple of hours. The house is lovely, exactly what you'd imagine from a beach house. It is right on the beach with direct access, location is absolutely phenomenal as it is right on Santa Monica pier. Views from the bedrooms were generally awesome, one having a fantastic sea view. There is a bridge nearby to get to bars, restaurants in downtown SM. We rented trikes one day and "cruised" to Venice beach which was a great experience, definitely recommend. The house is not 5* luxury, it is a little rustic, but for us it was perfect and only being in SM for a few days, location was the main thing. There are only a handful of properties on the beachfront so we did feel privileged to be staying there. Only other slight drawback was the road directly behind the apartment is the Highway, quite noisy. Wasn't a major issue for us at all. Great experience and would gladly stay here again if/when we return to SM!

Great location! Right on the beach with a beach volleyball net right out the gate. Super close walking distance to downtown to many restaurants and bars. Shared bbq space was also great! Only downside is parking is limited and most places close are 8-12 bucks per entry. we found parking one day right out front for free but is very limited. Not a deal breaker though as there is also a 24 hour parking garage downtown and about a 10 min walk only!! We had 8 people and didn't find an issue with the 1 bathroom for our 3 night stay but any longer may have been a little tough. Overall highly recommend this unit!! Had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

The property was as it was described. I am glad that there was no unwanted surprise. The check-in instruction was very clear. I appreciate the host reaching out to me a few days before our reservation confirming our reservation and assuring that everything is ready for our arrival.
