MAMA’S FISH HOUSE and its gorgeous beach is less than 100 steps away and world-famous HO’OKIPA is just a minute beyond Mama’s. Here you are in the center of the active North Shore Maui lifestyle, exactly where you want to be. You can be surfing, windsurfing, stand-up paddling, kitesurfing or swimming quicker than just about anywhere on Maui.
Less than five minutes away is historic PAIA TOWN with its shopping, dining, art galleries and beaches. Perfect spots for swimming or sunning abound at nearby Tavares Bay, Paia Bay or at Baldwin Beach which, includes the aptly named and wonderfully child-friendly, Baby Beach. This location cannot be beat! Plus, our house is gorgeous!
Guest have access to everything: BBQ's, roof deck, lanai, wifi, gates, outdoor shower, coolers, chairs, boogie boards, etc.

ALOHA! Welcome - We care about your stay on Maui and want you to have a wonderful vacation experience. If there are any concerns upon or after your check-in, please make sure you tell us, so that we can make every effort to address them. Thank you for taking the time to assure that all the guests in your party are aware of the following House Rules and Information which are intended for your comfort, safety and for the proper care of Maui Winds.
Check in: 3:00 PM, Check out: 10:00 AM.
NO exceptions without permission.
Remove shoes when inside the house. Rinse sand from feet before entering house.
This is a NON SMOKING house. If you want to smoke, please do so outdoors and properly dispose of your cigarette butts.
Residential Community/ Noise: Please be respectful of our peaceful neighborhood. Quiet time is from 9pm to 8am (Maui County Law). Noise must not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Amplified sound audible beyond our property boundaries is prohibited. Please be aware that voices carry when on the lanai (deck) and please move indoors after 9pm. Our neighbors appreciate your kokua (cooperation). Excessive noise will result in you being asked to leave the property without reimbursement.
No Parties: Group gatherings are limited to registered guests only. Please do not move household items between houses.
Parking: Vehicles must be parked within our gates and must not be parked on the street. Drive SLOWLY in the neighborhood. Kids, Pets and Walkers abound. Important!
The kitchen and dining areas should be kept very clean, with food contained or refrigerated to prevent attracting the critters that love the tropics too.
Surfing/Windsurfing/SUPs/Beach Toys: Please keep these outside as they can easily damage the inside of our home.
Trash: On Sun. evening, please place garbage in outdoor trash bins. Mon. morn it’s picked up.

WATER SHUT-OFF VALVE: The water shut-off valve is located outside the house, in the black water meter box to the right of the Lana Street gate opening mechanism.

Gate/ Entry Keys: To close the gate after opening it with the gate code, please use the remote gate opener inside the house. Use the lockbox key to enter and return it to the lockbox. There are keys inside for your use during your stay.
A/C upstairs: Be energy considerate! Open the windows to create a cross breeze and use fans before using A/C please. If you must use the A/C, be absolutely sure all windows and doors, including the sliding glass door, are completely closed or A/C will malfunction and flood downstairs causing damage.
Wireless Internet: Netgear (Key is case-sensitive and include spaces): lovely house by the sea
Roof Deck: Please keep the hatch closed and half door shut when not in use. Please make sure the light on the deck is off when you descend the stairs. Please do not feed the local macaw Coco who likes to land on our roof deck. She sometimes may attempt to become too friendly by landing on your head or shoulder. In that case, please just exit the roof deck.
Liability: The Property is privately owned; neither the owners nor the property managers nor any service personnel are responsible for any accidents, injuries, illness or other damage to person or property that occurs while or as a result of the guests being on the premises or using any items provided with the House. The Owner/ Property Manager/Service Personnel are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation and entering the property, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or items provided at the property, as well as others who they allow on the premises.
DEPARTURE CHECKLIST- Before leaving, PLEASE ensure:
1.you have left the gate opener & the keys that are on key chains either on the entry table or the kitchen counter ($35 fee for failing to return a key or $60 for a gate opener)
2.door is locked and entry key replaced in the lockbox outside (if you used that key)
3.all doors and windows are closed and locked, A/C is off; also close all curtains
4.(upstairs) roof deck hatch is closed and roof deck light is off
5.all dishes are clean and dishwasher is empty
6.any used laundry, including sheets, and especially damp towels, are placed in laundry
7.all garbage is in the outside containers next to the outside shower
8.the house is broom clean
9.you close the gates using the gate code 1966
10.you have notified Greg (EMAIL HIDDEN) about anything that is damaged, broken or missing. THX!
