Hi, Yes it was regrettable the miscommunication about the baby bed, my apologies again. Fortunately we have two and both were in plain sight on each floor and I appreciate that you were able to fix this yourselves without too much trouble for that first night and I am glad I was able to make up a nice cozy bed for your toddler the next day. We try our best to make our home user friendly and self service, in this unfortunate and rare glip on my part was a testament to that. With regard to the instructions we give in our "welcome" book, most of our guests really appreciate the information, and the part about sharing a pot of coffee or baking an extra couple rolls for your fellow housemates when eating breakfast at the same time, we think is appropriate because most of our guests have never stayed in a guest house before where they may be sharing a table or a block of cheese with a fellow traveller. Some are quite shy and they really appreciate some guidance. I am glad you didn't, but sorry you took offence, there was no patronising meant on our part, just trying to make our house work for all of our guests and in our experience more information is better than too little information.
