This is a modern city apartment with a private terrace and open plan living and kitchen area. The guest bedroom is north-north-east facing and has large floor-to-ceiling windows (see photographs) overlooking the north of the city.
The apartment comprises of two floors - the entrance floor has the living area, dining area and kitchen, with direct access onto the terrace. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms and two shower rooms.
It's on the 4th floor of the building (the top floor) which is served by a lift at each end of the corridor, and the apartment itself is a duplex (on 2 floors) so unfortunately, this place is not best suited for those needing wheelchair access, my apologies.
You have full roam of the apartment with the exception of my bedroom and shower room, which are self-contained and will be locked.
I moved here 19 years ago, so I know the city really well. I've left plenty of information for you to look at, including suggestions of places to go, but the best way to discover Birmingham is to walk everywhere. It's a lovely city with friendly people and beautiful buildings (and the odd ugly one too).
Please note that I have a dog, which will never be here, but you will need to be aware that there may be dog hair present at times. I do keep it very clean, but I wanted to make you aware.
I have wifi with a password, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, fully fitted kitchen, iron and ironing board, a good powerful hairdryer, GHD straighteners, Sky tv, apple tv, and lots of power points.
There's also plenty of wardrobe space for you - that drives me mad in other Airbnbs when I can't hang my clothes!
I have compiled information featuring the places I'd suggest heading to, and some I may not but might be up your street - it segments the city into areas (the Chinese Quarter, the Convention Quarter, the Jewellery Quarter, the Financial District, the Gay Quarter, Broad Street, Brindleyplace etc etc).
The neighbours are understanding, but that's because I am a good neighbour! Please be respectful of them at all times, thank you.
I have ticked 'infant friendly' but it is really only for cot restricted and non-moving babies - mobile toddlers would not be catered for. There are sharp corners and low-lying trinkets.
