Lillians Cottage B&B is nestled in the west bank of the Muskoka River providing a beautiful vista. Full breakfasts served when you request, coffee and cinnamon buns delivered to your room when you waken. A great package!

The boathouse provides a little getaway from the main house. Coffee/tea and cookies available in the boathouse as well as comfy couches! The guest porch is available to enjoy your morning coffee.

Guests have access to their room, dining area, sun porch, gazebo and boathouse. Guests have access to a brewing system for coffee/tea.

The host/hostess are usually around the house in the kitchen/garden and available if needed. Breakfast can be enjoyed with other guests or privately at a different time or area.

The boathouse comes with almost 70 years of history having housed steam boats for a family that invented evaporated milk to canoes owned by Timothy Eaton's wife. It's been interesting gathering historical (URL HIDDEN) of the area and the boathouse.

Lillian's is a non-smoking environment and we kindly ask guests to not smoke in and around the cottage or boathouse. There is a dog at Lillian's however she doesn't have access to the guest area. Respectful behavior is naturally expected and those who are disruptive for other guests will be encouraged to seek accommodation elsewhere. Swimming is allowed however there is no waterside supervision. For those with children, please understand that this is really an adult environment and with water risks and high balconies, safety is a concern. We discourage more than two people per room for comfort and safety reasons.

Some pet(s) live in the house

We thoroughly enjoyed starting with Marilyn and Brian in their wonderfully decorated, luxurious and historic home. It was a truly wonderful stay on the way to Algonquin park and we look forward to being back!

I honestly can't have had a better stay! The location is perfectly tucked away in Huntsville, and a close driving distance to Arrowhead Provincial Park. The boathouse on the premises was very cute and rustic -- the kayak and canoe provided in the boathouse also provided a beautiful way to explore Huntsville. The rooms were immaculate and the decorations charming and welcoming. I would definitely visit again. As all the other reviews have commented on -- the cinnamon buns are to die for. Thanks again for hosting us, Marilyn. :)

Marilyn and family were unbelievable hosts! We had the most relaxing two days post-ironman. The delicious buns and morning breakfast were such a special treat and Marilyn went above and beyond for us the entire stay. We will be back.

We, Brian and Marilyn, have lived in southern Ontario for most of our lives. We met in Edmonton, Alberta. Actually we crashed into each other in a snow bank while skating! Brian is not yet retired however Marilyn has left her position as a neonatal nurse (30 years) and is now …
