Cristina is a very nice, warm and helpful host. As she speaks English, it is easy to communicate with her. Cristina was also very flexible about date and hour of arrival and departure.
She does everything so you'd have a good holiday - for instance: contacting a new internet provider so we would have strong wifi. A tiny problem with the sink was solved within the hour. She always reacts within minutes (on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)) when asked something. Cristina is also very helpful in giving information about the region. Cristina really does an excellent job, congratulations to her.
The house was extremely tidy (really!), and every couple days, the pool got cleaned. That pool is awesome, by the way: large and deep! We loved it! The garden is big and also very neat. There's an automatic gate, so your kids can't get on the street, and there's plenty of space to park the car (and more). Next to the house, there's an extra building, to put your bike, for instance. We also were charmed with our own palm trees, lemon tree en grapes on the property.
The house on the inside is not too big, but we could easily live there with 5 persons for 3 weeks - especially as you live outside there, often choosing between 1 of the 2 terraces. For us, used to the Belgian weather, the Spanish summer was really hot! We spent alot of time in the pool!
What we liked most about Pedreguer, is that everything is quite nearby. Although you need a car, nothing is too far away. For instance: I think the sea (that you can see from the garden) is at about 12 km, and litteraly in front of the house, there's a big mountain. We visited Valencia, Calpe, Moraira and other towns, spent time on the beach, and swimming in the sea, did a mountain walk in Sella, vistited waterfalls and Guadalest, spent a day in Valencia... There's plenty to do there.
Also, as a family of 5 vegetarians, we LOVED the fact that most Spanish supermarkets have vegetarian and lactose free food. In Denia, we even found a health food store, so we had some barbeques! (There's an ecological supermarket near Portal de La Marina also, we discovered the last days.)
To sum things up: we definitely recommend a visit to Cristina's house!
Cristina: thank you very much and keep up the good work!
