If you are keen to get out and explore the area I highly reccomend bringing walking boots/wellies and a waterproof coat. We are on top of the Pennies and whilst it is beautiful to be out in the are the weather can change pretty quickly.
We have lovingly restored the cottage so please respect it. There is no smoking in the cottage and pets are welcome but they must be well behaved. There is a porch for storage of mucky boots and bikes etc, and for dry/cleaning any dogs. Due to the rural location the wi-fi is limited and is not suitable for streaming /downloading films or other large files. Please respect this. Please also keep an eye on your dog if it is not used to chickens as ours are very free range and will roam around.
