Elegant and cozy space with 16' high ceilings. A great refuge from the hustle of the city with all the comforts of home. Sleeps up to 8 with an air mattress. In the heart of Bushwick with many amenities nearby and quick subway to Manhattan.
I took a blank white box and transformed it in to a home that is not only stylish and comfortable, but functional and luxurious too. The apartment has 16' ceilings and big tall windows.
Furnished with an assortment of contemporary items, antiques, and some built-ins from salvaged wood, the apartment will immediately strike you with its strong sense of design.
I have been here for four years, and I was the first tenant in the space after a massive building wide gut renovation. Originally built in 1900, the building itself has some cool design details. Everything still feels brand new and very clean.
The apartment has an open floor plan. The living room, kitchen and entry way/workshop under the loft are all one space and are open to guests.
The building has a gym and laundry in the basement. There is a large open roof as well as a side yard accessible through the building's basement. If you choose to enjoy these spaces, please respect that I share them with my neighbors.
If you have paid for an extra person, you are welcome to use bed and the space at the top of the stairs. The rest of the loft however is my office and is private. Since there is no way to close it off, I simply ask that you respect my privacy and stay out of that space. And please use caution on the stairs!
I will not be there when you are, but I'm happy to be in touch throughout your stay if you need anything and can advise you where to go during your stay.
There is an extra single bed upstairs in the loft, and the green couch in the living room converts to a day bed. I also have an air mattress available.
Early check in or late check out is available in some cases for an additional fee.
The apartment is suitable for both events and as a filming location, however normal rates will not apply. If you're looking to do something here, let's discuss it, and we'll come up with a price that works for both of us.
The entry way to my apartment is under video surveillance as are all the public areas of my building.
Please treat my home like you would your own. Leave your shoes at the door and limit food to the kitchen.
No smoking, no pets, no small children.

I own a design business that creates many travel opportunities for me. I've stayed in countless friends homes over many years spent on the road, and I know what it takes to make a guest comfortable. The second floor of my loft is where my office is, but you'll see the whole space is great for working on projects. I hope you'll feel inspired while you're here!
I've lived in NYC for 15 years. I absolutely love this city, and I never mind giving people ideas on what to do while they're in town. I always prefer to stay with locals when I'm traveling, and I have a knack for hosting friends in turn. And because I travel so much, I'm open to housing trades as well. If you have a sweet spot somewhere particularly cool, let's talk about it!
My favorite thing on earth to do is swim, but I'll settle for dancing when I can't find water. I love to build and create, and I especially thrive at the intersection of art & technology. While I still haven't figured out how to get a pool in to my living room, the rest of my passions are clearly visible throughout my home.
