We have been visiting Umbria every year since 1997 and completed the restoration of the casale in 2010. We are passionate about the area which is quiet and friendly. We love the local restaurants and the excellent small wine producers local to us in both Umbria and nearby Marche where you can buy direct from the person who tends the vineyards and makes the wine. We like the hot summers but our favourite times are Spring, early Summer and Autumn when it is possible to visit the artistic and cultural sites in cooler, but often very pleasant, weather.
