“La Jassine” is a Provençal-style villa nestled at the base of the Luberon Mountain range in the Luberon Regional Nature Park. The property is set among the vineyards, olive groves, and fruit orchards of the countryside between the charming villages of Lourmarin and Vaugines.
La Jassine is a private, fully furnished, 3 bedroom villa with outstanding views of the Luberon Mountains and spectacular sunsets. La Jassine offers Provençal country living at its finest. Savour the tranquility of Provence in the teak lounges around the deck of the swimming pool, enjoy a game of tennis on the full size tennis court, or simply relax in the hammock stretched between the oak trees. There is a field of cherry trees in front of La Jassine and an orchard of 30 fruit and olive trees on the two-acre property.
The Provençal-style kitchen features rustic oak cabinets, a terra cotta countertop, and a typical beamed ceiling. From the large kitchen window, there is a spectacular view of the mountains. The kitchen is fully equipped for aspiring chefs. The focal point of the open concept living/dining area is a typical Provençal fireplace with a high efficiency wood insert. French doors lead directly out onto the terrace. There is a TV with satellite receiver and a multitude of international channels, as well as DVD and VCR.

Sandra and Paul Beckett bought La Jassine in 1989 after falling in love with the beautiful Luberon area. Sandra is a university professor in a Department of Modern Languages and a specialist on the French author, Henri Bosco, a former resident of Lourmarin. It was through her research on Bosco that they discovered the Luberon. Sandra is also an internationally renowned authority on children’s literature. Paul has enjoyed a successful career in sales and marketing and is currently teaching economics and international business.
