This building is an artist space but you do not have to be "arty" to stay here just open to a creative environment. This is an active building during the day but fairly quiet most nights, its really very surprising how quiet it usually is ..that said those who need absolute quiet to sleep may want to come during the weekdays or stay somewhere NOT in Georgetown as i can not change the fact that an occasional airplane will fly overhead. Like I said its a hopping area and there is allot to do in the neighborhood. We are on the second floor up a flight of beautifully restored stairs. When you are hungry You can eat at our many restaurants (one in the same building called Star Brass yumm) and go to the coffee shop down stairs, shop for records, vintage furniture or oddities, check out the ART walk during second saturday ART ATTACK. Lots of things to do and a nice soft bed at the end of the day...not to mention our 10 headed shower (see reviews) could wash off the crustiest crocodile :)

I am a visual artist who is the director of a Non profit community Arts and Cultural Center. I'm a fairly warm person, i like to give hugs when needed (this includes you) spend time with friends and my dogs. The guest rooms are located in the Centers lovely 1904 building and we share the building with professional artist studios (mine included). The building is truly a vintage charmer and I have been doing the renovations myself. I think you will enjoy my handy work. Please note that the rooms are on the second floor and our space is in the city so its active and not always cricket quiet. I look forward to meeting you. I have two small calm Jack Russel's who may greet you but do'nt stay in the space at night. I enjoy animals, art, gardening and people.. .
This is not a hotel and I do not have staff so it is appreciated that you let me know your arrival time (as close as possible) and communicate this BEFORE your arrival as I arrange my day around meeting you. Late arrivals may be possible with prior arrangement and may be handled by our night manager Rick.
I am an easy going person but always try to keep our space mellow NO SMOKING IN BUILDING / NO VAPING/ NO POT …you can do all these things in our Smoking area outside. I am easily accessible if you need anything, I am happy to oblige most requests and strive to make every visitor a friend but I also will give you your space. I try to take Sundays off to rest and have time with my dogs.
I am also happy to help you plan a fun day here in Seattle. I even have a lonely planet guide to Seattle if you want to borrow it.
I cant wait to meet you!
