This contemporary home is secluded and serene, yet 5 minutes from Madison, I-95, Hammonasset Beach, Chatfield Hollow Lake, hiking trails and horse farms. It is 90 miles from NYC and 5 miles to the train. The CT shore is filled with charming towns.
This house is beautifully renovated with bamboo floors, granite kitchen, big windows, skylights, and an easy connection to the outdoors. It is build into a hill and surrounded by trees, creating a grown-up tree house affect. It feels serene and secluded despite great proximity to beaches, charming New England towns, grocery stores, parks, and transportation. Hamomassett Beach is a 5 minute drive and is the best beach along the shoreline. Downtown Madison is also 5 minutes away and full of charming restaurants, a movie theater, bookstore, and great shops. Chatfield Hollow is five minutes away for hiking and lake swimming amongst giant pine trees.
The House is private and has a large flagstone patio, 2 acres of land, and a garage.

The house has a great walking path in the woods right down the street. The path leads to Deer Lake camp which is a huge series of hiking trails around two lakes owned by the boy scouts. Anyone is permitted to walk there. There is a lovely horse farm across the street.
There is no smoking at all. (the security deposit will be kept if the house smells at all like smoke or pets.) The house is limited to 8 guests. No parties, no pets
(without permission). Big messes must be cleaned, the usual mess can be taken care of by cleaning staff.

I am a former New Yorker who moved my family to ct and I now come back into the city to work every other week for a few days. I am a therapist with an office on 13th street. I am quiet, clean, and travel alone. I will be out of the apt working most of the time.
