As Pacific Palms is situated in a quiet residential suburb, in consideration to our neighbours we request all guests keep noise to a minimum outside and observe the residential area "quiet time" From 10pm to 8 am

We were really disappointed with the condition of Roberts property finding it not to be as advertised with photos being misleading. The ensuite shower and hand basin waste water ran directly out of a pipe in the rear wall of the house, down a boat ramp and into the canal which is illegal. The ensuite toilet trickled all the time and had to be turned off each night to enable us to sleep. The toilet seat was also broken. The plug to the hand basin jammed in. The furnishings are very worn with the lounge suit in the theatre room collapsed and beyond uncomfortable. Limited Foxtel package when advertised as full. Both blinds in downstairs bedroom broken. Down stairs bedroom door has clear glass pane offering no privacy, or protection from hall/lounge lights shining in. The timber decking backing the canal is rotten along with the decking around pool, and is in immediate need of repair. It is dangerous and not suitable for children to play around. Dust and cobwebs on ceiling fan in kitchen and lounge. Cobwebs behind lounge tv on wall, under kick panel in main bathroom vanity. Dishwasher dish drawer not fixed in place and tips forward when loading and unloading needing to be held back while using. Front door handle lock broken and would not unlock from the inside. This left us having to climb over the rear deck handrail at 4am in the dark to meet our ride for hot air balloon trip. This issue just didn't happen and was a lack of maintenance issue. Deadbolt did lock ok but no warning of the other issue. There were no basic complimentary items at all on arrival. Considering we paid $357 for cleaning we found the property not cleaned to a very good standard. Also considering the nightly rate we found this property was below our expectations despite the amazing location being so close to Pacific Fair, Casino, Broadbeach shops/restaurants.

Plenty of space, creature comforts, good entertaining areas. The owner was very easy to deal with and accommodating.
