- While we have Starlink Wi-Fi throughout the chalet, cellular data is limited in the area due to our beautiful wooded setting, and we do not have a landline. We highly recommend enabling Wi-Fi calling on your device and loading your GPS directions before coming and leaving the property.
Pets:
- While we love welcoming four-legged friends, we ask that you do not leave your pet home alone unless they are securely crated. Pets can get anxious in unfamiliar spaces, which can lead to them getting hurt or damaging property. Please note that a fee will be charged for any damage caused by unattended pets.

During the winter months...
Road Conditions:
- The chalet is located up a hill on a gravel road in a remote area with no streetlights. During the winter and heavy rain, please ensure your vehicle is safely equipped to handle this terrain.
Power Outages & Generator:
- Storms can occasionally cause power outages. Please note that we do not have a generator on the property. Fortunately, power is usually restored within a few hours, and we provide candles for you to use in the meantime.
Fireplace:
- The indoor wood stove is seasonal and is only available for use during the winter from December through February.
Heating:
- The chalet is kept nice and cozy through baseboard heaters. As is typical with these heating systems, the pipes can occasionally make popping or ticking noises at night as they warm up.
