Our home is on the National Register of Historic Places, located about a mile east of the Rose Bowl and about a mile north of the Rose Parade. It has two beds: one king and one queen. We will either provide you one parking space at the back of our property or buy you an overnight parking permit for one vehicle for the duration of your visit.
This listing is for travelers only (not filming). Our home sleeps a maximum of 4 people.
You'll have access to the entire house and yard. The garage is off limits.
When possible, we'll greet you in person and give you a quick walk-through, then leave you to make yourselves at home. If you prefer not to be greeted, or we can't arrange to be home, we'll put out a lock-box for you to let yourselves in.
We no longer offer air conditioning. Our home's wide eaves keep temperatures in the 70s indoors, even when it's in the 90s outside. Open the windows at night to let the house breathe, then close everything up in the morning -- you'll be comfortable all day and leave a smaller carbon footprint too. In the heat of summer, we recommend closing the drapes when the sun is low on the horizon.
Given our home's vintage, we seek guests who will respect fragile items like old glass and original artwork. Well behaved dogs are welcome. No cats are allowed. Smoking is only allowed outdoors.

Vera's an engineer and Dave's an artist. We moved into this, our dream home, in 2006. We enjoy sharing it with friends and family. Now Airbnb is helping us make new friends while helping us make ends meet.
