The Beaches guest house is in a very convenient location a few metres from the sandy beaches of Preston Sands & Paignton Beach.We are a 10 minute walk to the local shops/eateries. We are surrounded by the beautiful coastline of South Devon with interesting towns and villages to discover including Babbacombe, Brixham, Torquay and Cockington. Whether you're a couple, visiting as a single person or a family group there are many local attractions to visit to suit every interest.

Privately owned and run by Claire & Gerard who bought the Beaches in June 2018. They had a dream of running their own guest house & after a few years of searching for the right one they came across The Beaches & fell in love with it on first sight.

Previously Claire worked for the NHS as a mental health nurse and Ged ran a home based retail business. For many years they hosted overseas teenage students in their home & acted as their surrogate parents whilst they were living in the UK. Claire also has experience of the hospitality industry having been bought up in a guest house her parents run. It would appear hospitality runs in the genes.

Our aim here at The Beaches is to offer a warm welcome & a homely experience for our guests where special memories are made. Some added extra touches to make your stay special & memorable.
